Dudhi (Botte Gourd) Kheer

Dudhi is a great coolant during Summers.Today I want to share Dudhi Kheer recipe with you. Hope you like it.

Ingredients:
  • 1 Round Bottle Gourd
  • 1 cup Milk Mava (Khoya)
  • 2 cups of Milk
  • 1.5 table Spoon of Ghee.
  • Finely chopped Dry fruits mainly Badam (Almonds),Pista (Pistachio)
  • Pinch of Cardamom Powder.
  • 3-4 tea spoons of Sugar or sweetener for diabetic people.
Recipe:
  • Take one round Bottle Gourd just cut it from top then remove the entire pulp from inside with the help of spoon.We will later use Bottle Gourd shell for presentation.
  •  Now put the entire pulp in mixture and grind it well.Colour of the pulp will turn little dark.
  • Take ghee in a pan,After ghee gets hot add dudhi pulp and add milk mava (Khoya) and stir it for 5 minutes.
  • Now add milk in the mixture and stir it for few more minutes so that the kheer becomes little thicker.
  • Add sugar or sweetener as per your need and add some finely chopped dry fruits with the pinch of Cardamom powder and stir it well.
  • Let the kheer cool down for 15 minutes.You can also put the kheer in Refrigeration.
  • Serve the kheer in the dudhi shell and garnish it with dry fruits.
