Jain Dal Makhani:

Ingredients:
  • 1 bowl of black urad Boiled dal.
  • 1 small cup of boiled rajma.
  • Tomato puree made out of 4-5 tomatoes.
  • 1 cup of fresh cream.
  • 3-4 table spoon of butter.
  • 2 table spoon of ghee.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Ginger paste.
  • coriender to garnish.
  • 2 table spoon red chilli powder.
  • 1 table spoon dhanya powder.
  • 1 tea spoon of turmeric powder.
  • 1table spoon of Garam Masala.
  • 1 tea spoon of zeera.
Recipe:
  • Both  Black Urad dal and rajma should be soaked in water for around 6-7 hours,then pressure cook it for 5 whistles,let it cool down for couple of minutes and keep it aside.
  • In a non stick pan take butter,add zeera to it and add ginger paste.Now add tomato puree to it.
  • Let it cook for 5 minutes and then add boiled black urad dal and rajma to it.Cook for further 5 minutes.
  • Add all masalas to it and salt as per taste,then once it starts boiling add fresh cream.
  • Cook it on low flame so that Dal doesn't stick on bottom of the pan.
  • Now we will give extra tadka to it by adding ghee,so in other utensil add ghee and some more red chilli powder to it and mix that with Dal Makhani,this will give very nice colour to our dal.
  • Finally add garam masala to it and allow to cook for couple of minutes.
  • Garnish it with coriender.
  • Serve it with Rice and enjoy.
